HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

We are CELEBRATING today!!

Our little girl ...

Kate at 2 days old

Kate at 1 year old

Kate at 2 years old

is getting bigger!

Kate at 3 years old

I still don't know who told her she could do that! :)

My favorite things about Miss Kate ...

*Kate loves to smile
*She is so kind - if anyone around her is sad, she tends to become very sad, and can even get teary.
*Kate loves to pretend.
*Kate is an adorable little mother.
*Her favorite toys are dolls and ponies. LOVES these.
*She loves her stuffed unicorn named Misty, and frequently asks for stories of Princess Kate and Misty.
*Kate hates to go potty, and waits until the VERY last second she possibly can. She has a hilarious "potty dance". :)
*Kate loves her brothers, and can often be found playing Legos, Star Wars, Kung Fu, and other such games.
*Kate is AMAZING at puzzles.
*She LOVES to wear skirts and dresses and play dress up.

To celebrate we are having some family and a couple friends over to cake and ice cream. Pretty low key (since life is crazy right now, and we're closing on our house in 2 days).

Yesterday Dale and I took Kate on a date all by herself. It was so much fun.

In Daddy's "Race" car. The kids LOVE when they get to be in daddy's car.

Kate LOVES pasta, so we decided to take her to The Olive Garden. I think she pretty much LOVED having the time with just the two of us.

After the Olive Garden, we took her to Toys R Us and let her pick a gift out. She choose this doll. She pretty much loves it. :)

If you are part of Toys R Us birthday club you get a $3 off any purchase of $3 or more, and a crown, and a balloon. Sometimes they even announce over the speaker that it's your birthday. My kids all love this. The sad even that followed this, was that Kate's balloon flew away into the sky ... it was very devastating for her.

Thanks for being in our family Miss Kate!!

What a beautiful girl! I love that you went out with just her. That's a great idea. I hope the move goes well.
