Last California Post

We had such a fun time in CA. Thanks Wayne and Betty for letting us stay for so long!!!

Family pictures on Sunday.

Our last big trip was to Solvang. It's basically a little town with super cute shops every where. It was fun. We probably would have stayed longer if it hadn't been raining. But trying to carry an umbrella and push a stroller, and make sure another child isn't getting wet, and staying with you, gets a little old, really quick. :) So we didn't stay as long as we would have had the weather been good. Glad we went though. It was fun.

Kate on the saddle.

Spencer in a cowboy had on the saddle. He LOVED this.

Will's Turn!

Jack just chillin' in his stroller.

Street View.

After our raining walk, we decided to head to lunch. Betty took us to this great place!

Dale and Will (and Kate walking in front, lol).

We didn't have the pea soup, but we did really enjoy the food we did have!

We headed home on a Friday and decided to stop in LA to see the temple. In all our trips we'd never stopped. They'd recently redone the temple visitor center, so we wanted to check it out.

The LA Temple

The Christis

Kidos

We were listening to the presentation, and Spencer got up, and went and sat by the Sister Missionary that was showing us around and such. It was too cute not to take a picture.

JESUS!!

Yep, my kids just climbed all over this statue. Luckily it was ok with the missionaries, lol.

Another view of the temple.

On our drive home, the moon was rising, and it was HUGE and beautiful. Of course, the picture doesn't do it any justice, but it's here on the blog to remember anyways. :)

I almost feel weird NOT going to Cali this December. Looks like you guys had lots of fun. I loved seeing the photos of all of you. Glad to see you're still wearing that Nauvoo sweatshirt around. And what's with Dale's stache?
