Disneyland

We had a great time at Disneyland. We only spent one day there, but it was a good day. Will got pretty tired by the afternoon, and so he would say no to every ride we tried to take him on. Then when we actually got on it, he loved it. Silly kid. Here are some of the highlights.

Preparing for some rides:

Will & Dale on Dumbo. Will loved this ride.

Here is Will and Dale while we "waited" in line for the Buzz Lightyear right. We never waited by the way. We pretty much walked onto the ride all 5 times we went on it. No Fast Pass or anything ... just walked in. It was nice.

The Star Tours door. This ride was Will's FAVORITE!! Lol. We only went once, but he loved it more than any other ride. It was kind of funny.

Honey I Shrunk the Audience was funny to see. Will took his glasses off about 2 minutes into the movie and put his hands over his ears. Then when it was done he said: " That was awesome!" Lol, maybe it would have been unbelievable for him if he'd seen it the way it was meant to be seen. Silly kid.

Here are some pictures of WHO we saw while we were at Disneyland:

Captain Hook. Will was scared of him, but I took a picture anyways.

Minnie Mouse! Will and Kate both love Minnie. Kate was excited when she saw this picture. She was excited to see Will and me in the picture with Minnie, it was cute.

Mickey Mouse. Oh, Will was SO SO SO excited to meet Mickey. He showed Mickey that he had a Mickey Mouse shirt and was just so happy to actually meet him. So cute.

Darth Vader and Darth Maul (is that right LOL). This was Jedi Training, which was AWESOME. If you have a little boy, go to this if you go to Disneyland, so worth it.

Whinny the Pooh and Will. Will was a bit ornery but Pooh got him to grin a little bit.

Tigger. Will was super ornery when we got to see Tigger, so he pretty much refused to smile. Whatever.

The Holiday Parade was great! Will loved it and of course we got to see a bunch of characters. Here are a few pictures we took.

Will just smiling for the camera, excited to be there.

Cinderella. This picture was for Kate. She LOVES Cinderella. It made me sad that Kate couldn't be there. Next time she'll come though.

Sleeping Beauty's Castle all lit up for the evening.

Woody and Buzz Lightyear from Toy Story. Will was super excited to see Woody and Buzz. California Adventure has the Pixar Characters, so it was fun to still be able to see them in the parade even though we didn't spend time in the other park.

Goofy is one of Will's favorite, so it was great to see him! What fun.

Of course Santa Clause was the last part of the parade. It was great to see him and it was an exciting end to the evening.

We had a great time together and are so glad we could visit Disneyland!

Man, Star Tours would pretty much be the only reason I'd go back to Disneyland. It was closed the last time I was there, and that was probably ten years ago, so the last time I actually went on that ride was probably fifteen years ago. Looks like fun.

Don't tell Ben but I couldn't tell you if that was Darth Maul or not, so your guess is as good as mine!

NO WAY! We had no idea you guys were coming down here - we LIVE in the Ventura mission! We would have loved to see you all:) No worries, we'll be in Utah for Christmas! It looks like you had so much fun at Disneyland -- and Kara, I L-O-V-E your backpack in the last picture:) For reals.

How fun! I haven't done disney with any kids yet. I'd be afraid they'd get too tired, but it looks like Will did great!

Yetti, my other two kids were with my in-laws. We didn't want to take them since they are so little we knew they wouldn't do as well. Will did great though (ya know, considering he's only 3 1/2).
