Here is Will "scooping" out the insides. He was not excited about the gooieness of it. He actually really likes to keep his hands clean, sometimes annoyingly so, and he wouldn't touch or help besides this one time.
Kate loved this. While Dale and I carved Kate went through the "guts" of the pumpkins that got out and put them in a small metal bowl I had out for seeds to roast. Lol. She loved it though.

The kids loved their pumpkins! Will still goes out on the porch to check on them.
Will made the paper pumpkin in preschool and we decided to carve one of our pumpkins like the one he made. He was so thrilled to see they were the same.
