Safety and Cosmo!

Over at our local elementary school they had a safety fair.

Will was so excited about it, so we headed over there when Dale got home.

They were talking about safety in getting to and from school.

They had a police officer with his car there that the kids could sit in.

The police officer also turned on the lights while Will was in there!

This was awesome.

They have these two "cars" that go at each other and show the kids what it'd feel like to be on a head on crash going like 10-20 mph I think (it's been a while, I don't remember exactly).

They were teaching the importance of seatbelts and booster seats.

They were required to wear both. 

CRASH! 

During Safety week they were encouraging different things for the kids to practice.

Walking to school on Friday was one of them.

If you walked to school, you got to look around for COSMO!!

HOLY COW!  All my kids were so excited.

Will and his friend (Joe) usually walk together to school.

I couldn't pass up taking all the kids that morning though.

So here is Cosmo hangin' out with the kids.

He came and gave them high 5's a second later.
