Our yard progress

Don't get too excited everyone.  Just get a little bit excited for us.
You see, we found this awesome guy to do our cement work -- the pads at least.
We got things set with him on a Friday, and then he was coming on Monday to do the support things and then Tuesday the cement truck would show up.
It snowed on Sunday, and then rained off and on that whole week.
Then the next week we were on vacation (more of that to come).
Then we called him Saturday (like 2 days ago Saturday) and said,
We're back!  Come!  He said, okay, I'll be there tomorrow.
He called in the morning, and his wife had been admitted to the hospital!
I'm super sad for him, and I hope things are okay.
SERIOUSLY though?!?  Lol.
Oh well.  Such is life, and spring right?

So, before our vacation, we were able to get a 15 foot hold dug up in our backyard.
Really, this was possible because we have a great home teacher who works with machinery and the such.
He let Will help him a little bit too.

Will learning how to drive the excavator.

MOVING DIRT!!  Do you see Will's face?
PRICELESS!

This past Saturday, Dale was out in our yard for TEN hours.
Yep, my husband is amazing.  :)
(Just for the record, I was out there for 2 1/2 hours helping but I had to take care of the kids)
We finished digging out the hole (it wasn't quite bit enough),
which not only included digging a bit out from the walls, but also a huge pile of dirt in the middle.
Plus he dug 12 holes, and then leveled each hole.
Then he finished building the wooden fence part.
Then wrapped it in chicken wire, and the weed fabric stuff.
Then we got 5 neighbors to help put said fence/support thingy in the ground.
Then he cemented in the polls.
Whoa!
What was that all for?
Our TRAMPOLINE!!  YAY!

Here is our beautiful hole!
PS Don't worry, Dale build the wood part around the actual trampoline to make sure it'd fit.  :)
As soon as we can get out in the backyard again and put the tramp together it'll be in the hole.

Now ... if it would just stop raining we could get the rest of the yard done in about 2 weeks time.
Here's for hoping!
