Viva Las Vegas!!

We stopped and stayed in Vegas on the way home (okay, it was not actually Vegas, but right outside of it). We were SO excited to visit with some friends that we haven't seen since just after Kate was born (so it's been like 2 1/2 years almost). I am so bummed I didn't think to take pictures with them. So, a big ol' shout out to the Parrish family!! THANKS YOU GUYS!! The next morning Will wanted to play with Mark again. :) Hopefully we'll get to see you next time we stop in the area.

We stayed the night at the Holiday Inn Express and highly recommend it, espeically if you have kids! It was the greatest room. We are so glad that our friend Alisa recommend it to us! We are also glad we were able to stay. Here are some pictures of (part) our room.

Here is where Kate and Will slept. It was SO nice for them to have seperate beds because if they have to share, it's a nightmare and Dale and I end up each sleeping with one of them in different beds. Much nicer for everyone.

There was this great little table that the kids were thrilled to play at and eat at.

The "kitchen" area. We got the sports themed kids suite, which was perfect for all the kids.

The next morning we woke up and were able to have a great playdate with some friends we have in Las Vegas. It was crazy hectic, but tons of fun. Will totally didn't want to leave. There were 9 kids ranging in age from 5-3 months. So fun. Here is our big group picture.

Kate and Sammy were the only girls! Yeah, 7 boys and 2 girls, and Sammy's mom is also pregnant with baby #4 and boy #3!

The 3 big boys.

This is what Spencer did almost the entire time. He LOVED this chair, even though it caused him a lot of pain (he climbed and climbed and fell often climbing in and out).

After our play date we decided to drive over to the temple. Insipte of the 106 degrees outside the HOT wind (horrible, seirously, hot wind is horrible), we decided we'd walk around the Las Vegas temple quickly.

Another view. I didn't try to get the entire temple, it was too hot to stay out long and figure out where to get a good view.

The kids loving and wanting to play in the fountain.

Me and my boys. Yeah we match, totally not planned.

Dale, Will, Kate, and Spencer in front of the temple.

After the temple we headed back home. It was a LONG day, but we all had a good time. Thanks for all our friends for making the effort to meet up with us! We loved seeing you and the kids loved playing!

We had a fun time, didn't we? Thanks for all the work you put into it. It was fun to hang out for a few days. Looks like your time in Vegas was fun too. What a great hotel room.
